I am a seasoned Embedded Systems Engineer with expertise in designing and prototyping sophisticated electrical systems. Recognized as a dedicated team player, I excel in embedded systems design and robotics, with experience in startups and international competitions.

I am proficient with multicore embedded devices, STM32, Atmel, ARM architectures, and skilled in C++ and Python for machine learning. My background as a firmware developer includes implementing Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and optimizing execution time. I am adept with I2C, SPI, UART protocols, and wireless technologies like Bluetooth, WiFi, and MQTT. My entrepreneurial mindset and experience in sales and negotiation further enhance my capabilities as a forward-thinking engineering professional.

My Journey

McGill University

B.Eng in Electrical Engineering and specializing in the domain of Electronics and Embedded Design. During my 4 years program, I developed a Wireless Strain Gauge Systems for Mining Industry in my 1st Year and then my Capstone Project was developing an Autonomous Drone Project.

Fynite Corp.

Started in November 2023 as a Data Engineer, advanced to Lead Data Engineer, and played a key role in securing seed funding through a client partnership. Currently serving as a Release Manager, overseeing technical product management to develop a new data analysis platform.

Current Project

I build complex network infrastructure using Raspberry Pis as a lot of my other projects are dependent on this infrastructure. Through this device, I have setup my own personal VPN, 13 TB of cloud storage, video-conferencing, self-hosted website, Forex dashboards and personal DNS router. In the near future, I plan on assembling my own centralized logging feature to monitor metrics, security access etc.

November 2023 - Present

Release Manager

I collaborated with UX designers to create intuitive interfaces and provided technical expertise to cross-functional teams to foster innovation and ensure compliance with industry standards and SOC-2 requirements. I managed workflows using Jira, enhanced network security with VPNs, and improved team collaboration with whiteboard tools like Eraser. I maintained ERD diagrams for back-end engineers, streamlined workflows between front-end and back-end teams, and supervised initial UI designs using Figma. Additionally, I conducted competitive analysis, managed API collections with Postman, established the company’s first ELT platform with Fivetran, negotiated favorable vendor pricing, and implemented centralized antivirus and logging systems.

February 2022 - February 2024

Embedded System Lead

Collaborating with NASA and CSA on a Mars mission food source competition, I led my sub-team to the final phase in February 2024. I designed schematics in LTSpice and PCBs in EasyEDA/EAGLE, used ESP32 controllers, and built custom C libraries for 40+ PCB units. I set up a Raspberry Pi server connecting 40+ controllers and a website, reduced execution time with FreeRTOS and threads, and established MQTT connections between ESP32s and the server. I also controlled LEDs and cameras remotely via WiFi and integrated sensors and touchscreens using SPI and I2C.

January 2023 - April 2023

Embedded System Engineer

Designed and assembled PCBs for data collection under tight deadlines, using FreeRTOS on Arduino Xiao M0/M4 for optimized task scheduling. Created a 10A current amplifier with MOSFETs and BJTs, improved a pilot project with SPI protocol, wrote C header files, implemented sensors for M0 Arduino chips, and studied C files to enhance library usage.

LambdaGain Engineering Intern

Utilizing CWDM and DWDM in fiber optics, I tested fiber patch cords to standards and evaluated suppliers for optimal products, managing procurement across projects while maintaining inventory and financial records. Employing recursive testing for fault detection adapters, I prepared documentation for patch cords and transceivers, assisted with wirelessly tunable SFP units, and conducted optical transceiver testing. Additionally, I programmed EEPROMs for transceivers.
