Designed and built a custom ESP32-based PCB integrating I2S IMUs and multiple I2C sensors for advanced motion and environmental data capture.
A client approached us needing a compact, robust embedded system for high-fidelity motion and environmental data collection. We designed a custom PCB featuring an ESP32 microcontroller, integrating an I2S-based Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and several I2C sensors (including environmental and motion sensors). This hardware enables synchronized, real-time data acquisition suitable for industrial and research applications.
Our design focused on minimizing board footprint, maximizing sensor expandability, and ensuring signal integrity. The final product was successfully deployed in the client’s pilot program, supporting rapid prototyping and reducing their hardware iteration cycle by over 50%.
