Developed custom firmware and hardware for a next-gen haptic wearable, enabling precise real-time tactile feedback for enhanced user experiences.
A startup in the wearable technology space partnered with us to create the core hardware and firmware for their innovative haptic feedback device. The challenge was to design a compact and power-efficient wearable capable of delivering nuanced, real-time tactile sensations for applications in VR, gaming, and accessibility.
We engineered a custom PCB optimized for wearable use, featuring low-power microcontrollers, high-precision haptic drivers, and integrated motion sensors. On the software side, we developed robust firmware to process sensor input, control vibration patterns, and ensure seamless Bluetooth communication with mobile devices. Rigorous testing ensured responsive feedback and user comfort. The project accelerated the client’s path to prototype demonstration, securing investor interest and industry partnerships.
Programming Custom ESP32 Board
Our design focused on minimizing board footprint, maximizing sensor expandability, and ensuring signal integrity. The final product was successfully deployed in the client’s pilot program, supporting rapid prototyping and reducing their hardware iteration cycle by over 50%.
