Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by DBtronics to answer common questions about how we handle information from website visitors and clients. Last updated August 2026.

We collect the minimum we need to answer enquiries and deliver projects. We do not sell personal data. If you want to know what we hold about you, or want it deleted, email inquiry@dbtronics.org and we will respond within a reasonable period.

01

What we collect

Information you give us directly, plus basic technical data your browser sends when you visit the site.

02

How we use it

Enquiry data is used to reply to you, prepare proposals and deliver agreed work. Technical data is used to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We only send marketing messages to people who asked for them, and every one includes an unsubscribe option.

03

Client and end-user data

When an automation or prototype handles data belonging to your customers, you remain the owner of that data. We access it only as needed to build, test and support what you hired us to deliver, and we follow the handling rules set out in the engagement agreement.

04

Third-party services

We rely on third parties to run the business and deliver projects — hosting and CDN providers, email, calendar and scheduling tools, CRM and messaging platforms, and AI providers used inside automations. Each processes data under its own privacy terms, and we name the ones relevant to your project during scoping.

05

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to function, and may use analytics to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then behave differently.

06

Retention and deletion

We keep enquiry records while there is an active conversation or relationship, and project records for as long as we need them for support, warranty and accounting obligations. After that they are deleted or anonymised. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

07

Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport and reputable managed platforms, and we limit who on the team can reach client systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not claim it is — if an incident affects your data we will tell you promptly and explain what happened.

08

Your choices

Ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, or opt out of marketing at any time by writing to inquiry@dbtronics.org.
