Terms & Conditions

This page is maintained by DBtronics and explains the terms that apply when you use dbtronics.org or engage us on a project. Last updated August 2026.

By accessing this website or entering into an engagement with DBtronics, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. Specific projects are additionally governed by the signed proposal or statement of work, which takes precedence where the two differ.

01

Use of this website

The content here — copy, graphics, case studies, diagrams and code samples — is provided for general information about DBtronics services. You may browse and share it, but you may not resell it, scrape it at scale, or present it as your own work.

02

Services and engagements

Anything shown on this site — packages, timelines, pricing tiers or implementation guarantees — is indicative. A binding scope only exists once both parties sign a proposal or statement of work covering deliverables, milestones, fees and acceptance criteria.

03

Payment terms

Unless the signed proposal says otherwise, project work is invoiced against milestones and retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. We may pause work on materially overdue accounts.

04

Intellectual property

DBtronics retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, frameworks, libraries and internal methods. On full payment, ownership of the custom deliverables built for your project transfers to you, together with a licence to use any embedded DBtronics components as part of those deliverables.

05

Third-party platforms

Our automations and prototypes often depend on third-party services — CRMs, telephony, messaging platforms, AI providers, component suppliers and hosting. Those services carry their own terms, availability and pricing, and DBtronics is not responsible for changes, outages or policy decisions made by them.

06

Confidentiality

Both parties keep the other's non-public business, technical and commercial information confidential and use it only to deliver the engagement. Client names or results appear in case studies and marketing only with the client's permission.

07

Warranties and liability

We deliver our work with reasonable professional skill and care. Beyond that, the site and its content are provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, DBtronics is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement.

08

Termination

Either party may end an engagement with written notice as set out in the signed proposal. On termination you pay for work completed and costs already committed, and we hand over the deliverables produced to that point.

09

Changes and contact

We may revise these terms as our services evolve; the version published here is the current one. Questions about these terms can go to inquiry@dbtronics.org.
